Head of Operations
Own the operational engine that brings preventive screening to Swiss workplaces. You will build and run fleet logistics, clinical workflows, and partner onboarding — from first pilot in Zurich to multi-city scale. This is a 0→1 operator role reporting directly to the founders.
Responsibilities
- Own fleet logistics: van scheduling, routing, maintenance, and daily readiness for 47 patients/day throughput.
- Design and run clinical workflow execution: staffing (nurses, sonographers), appointment flow, and on-site quality control.
- Lead partner onboarding: employer contracting, site preparation, and insurance billing (institutional ZSR) coordination.
- Build the operational roadmap: hiring plan, SOPs, KPIs (capacity utilisation, no-show rate, turnaround time), and scale playbook for city #2 and #3.
- Own P&L-adjacent ops metrics: cost per screening, fleet utilisation, and supply chain for consumables and devices.
- Liaise with clinical governance (Chief Medical Officer, MEBEKO-recognised telemedicine physicians) and regulatory (QUALAB, cantonal BAB).
Requirements
- 5+ years in healthcare operations, MedTech, logistics, or fleet management; startup or scale-up experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record running field operations with on-site teams and external partners.
- Strong process mindset: SOPs, checklists, and continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma a plus).
- Fluent in English and German (French a plus); based in Zurich or willing to relocate.
- Swiss work permit; driving licence B; comfortable with 20–30% travel during pilot phase.
What we offer
- Founding team seat with real ownership in the venture.
- Competitive salary + equity; 25 days vacation; modern Zurich office + field days.
- Direct impact: your ops design is the product for thousands of employees per year.
Referring Physicians
Join our national referral network. You refer patients who benefit from preventive cardiac screening; we perform the van-based workup (echo, carotid TSA, Doppler, blood draw) under telemedicine supervision and return a structured report with findings, risk stratification (AGLA/SCORE2), and clear next-step recommendations — ready for your file, not triage.
How it works
- You identify patients (40–65, elevated risk, or per guidelines) and refer via secure portal or email — no new software.
- We schedule the patient at their employer's site or a nearby van stop; screening takes ~20 min.
- Within 24h you receive: structured PDF + HL7-ready summary, images on request, and a GP/patient letter.
- You retain clinical responsibility for follow-up; we handle logistics, devices, and specialist telemedicine read where applicable.
- Compensation per referral agreement; no cost to the patient beyond the package (CHF 150–380) and partner/insurance coverage where eligible.
Who you are
- Licensed physician in Switzerland (FMH or equivalent); GP, internal medicine, cardiology, or related specialty.
- Interest in preventive cardiology and cardiovascular risk assessment; no in-house echo/Doppler required.
- Based anywhere in Switzerland; referral volume flexible (from a few patients per month to weekly).
- Comfortable with digital report exchange and data-privacy-compliant communication.
Why join
- Offer proactive prevention without capital investment in devices or staff.
- Network events, CME-adjacent case reviews, and early access to screening slots for your patients.
- Be part of the first mobile prevention fleet in Switzerland.
On-Site Nurses — Mobile Screening Van
Be the face of prevention on the road. You travel with our mobile screening van to employer sites across Switzerland, delivering a best-in-class patient experience and performing screening tasks under physician supervision. Monday–Friday, day shifts, home base Zurich — the office is the van.
Responsibilities
- Drive / co-drive the van to employer sites (with driver or self, licence B required) and set up the on-site screening workflow.
- Perform: venous blood draws, automated blood pressure, spirometry, and anthropometrics (BMI, waist, bioimpedance) per SOP.
- Assist sonographer/physician workflow; ensure patient comfort, consent, and data capture in the tablet-based record.
- Handle samples, device hygiene, and chain-of-custody to partner labs; maintain stock and van readiness.
- Be the on-site host for employees and HR contacts; explain the process and next steps.
Requirements
- Swiss nursing diploma (DN I / Dipl. Pflegefachfrau/mann HF/FH, HES-SO, or recognised foreign equivalent with Swiss Red Cross recognition).
- Experience in venipuncture, vital signs, and patient-facing care; occupational health or prevention a plus.
- Driving licence cat. B; comfortable driving a van; willingness to travel 80% and start early on screening days.
- Languages: German and English (French/Italian a plus); excellent interpersonal skills.
- Swiss work permit; based within commuting distance of Zurich.
What we offer
- Full-time, permanent contract; competitive salary + travel allowance; 25 days vacation.
- Prevention-focused work with modern devices and strong clinical governance — no night shifts.
- Training, SOPs, and a tight team — you shape how field care is delivered.
